Dr. Lester Silverman

Dr. Silverman is a skilled optometrist who sees hundreds of patients each year. He specializes in providing comprehensive eye examinations, eye disease treatment diagnois, LASIK ~ laser and refractive surgery screening and analysis, eyeglasses, contact lenses, sunglasses, and visual therapy.

Beyond providing exceptional eyecare to his clients, Dr. Silverman is an active member of the Manhattan Beach community. He believes community work is part of a well-rounded professional life.

Dr. Silverman participates in a number of ways to extend his philosophy of service beyond his practice to include:

Serving as City Commissioner of Parking and Public Improvements for the City of Manhattan Beach.

Dr. Silverman belongs to: The Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce The Manhattan Beach Rotary Club Leadership Manhattan Beach (Class of 2006) He ran for Manhattan Beach School Board in 2007 because he is very concerned about the educational well being of the students in the Manhattan Beach Schools. In the past he was liasion to the Manhattan Beach School Board for one the local elementary schools and he has been a corporate sponsor for the Manhattan Beach Education Foundation.

Dr. Silverman is a current PTA Member.

Dr. Silverman attended UC Berkeley, School of Optometry, 1988 and State University of New York, New Paltz, 1975.
